Wishes for education for all

Daily Prompt: Generous Genies.
Remember those lovely genies who grant wishes? Well, you’re one and you’ve just been emancipated from your restrictive lamp. You can give your three wishes to whomever you want. Who do you give your three wishes to, and why?

one two three
wishes from me
first wish goes to
that little bright girl in a
Middle East refuge camp
teaching her friends
second wish goes to
Malala – education
for every child
in the world
third wish goes to
Richard Dawkins –
education
for grown ups

But Dance

Daily Prompt: 10,000 Spoons
…When all you need is a knife might not be ironic, but it is unfortunate. Add your own verse, stanza, or story of badly-timed annoyance to Alanis Morissette’s classic.

a hard one
!!!
I don’t know
how to be
ironic
so …
I put on some
dance and
music
hope you like it

perhaps a little
ironic

This it one of my favorites “all time” in contemporary dance – SYTYCD – choreography by Mia Michaels. Ane Brun sings Koop Island Blues.
Randi and Evan are fabulous dancers.
It is so creative art!

My African Prince

Daily Prompt: Third Rate Romance.
Tell us your funniest relationship disaster story.

first I thought
oh no no no!
then I thought
why not?
and I remembered
an evening and
a night
with the African prince
(studying at my University)
met him at a dance
and we enjoyed so much
dancing together
well well well
I went home with him
(so I didn’t have to take the train in the night)
but
!!!!
I didn’t sleep in his bed
I slept under his desk
….
I still remember his name
never seen him since

… but I would like to …
